Makarska Riviera is a small region located on the south part of the Croatian coast.

Center of Makarska Riviera is a city Makarska, and other smaller towns gravitate towards Makarska. One of those towns is Brela, well known place among many of the tourists all over the world. It is a pioneer of tourism on Makarska Riviera region because of its extreme natural beauty that people wanted to visit since 1930s, even though those were troubled years in whole Europe.

Makarska is the closest bigger city to Brela, where you can enjoy in city rush, and feel mediterranean soul of the city. Makarska apartments are as nice as in Brela, but most of them are not so close to the beach since it is a bigger city. Except apartments in Makarska, i would like to point out rich cultural heritage of the city. It is an ancient city with lot of intact architectural wonders and many museums that contain little pieces of Makarska history. Above the city, there is Nature Park Biokovo, old mountain with specific wildlife and spectacular view from the top.

So much to see and do in such a small region like Makarska Riviera. There is no other choice but to visit Brela and Makarska Riviera.
